These hand carved chessmen are made from bones of dead camels due to natural causes. So there is no suffering or slaughter, to give birth to these unique pieces. The white pieces are bleached milky white and black pieces are dyed in black color. These chessmen are finely crafted by our craftsmen who have inherited this skill for so many years. These Faux Ivory/Black camel bone chess pieces are cushioned with black velvet pads on the bottom.

House of Chess presents newly innovated roll up wood textured chess board under the brand of "Woodtex". These boards are having super soft Green color plush fleece back and the Silk/Rayon top with special digital wood textured playing surface.
Generally the currently available single colored roll up chess boards are either too thin and light in weight or too thick and bulky. The light weighted chess boards cannot ensure the stability of chess pieces over the playing surface whereas the hard rubberized back makes the boards heavy and also emits rubber odor.
The Woodtex Chess boards have been developed after keeping in mind the weight, color, smoothness and other factors. These unique boards can be stored in roll up as well as folded position.
Green plush fleece with thickness of 0.15" (4mm) makes the board stable and provides royal look.

The hinged presentation box is being provided to store these unique chessmen. Wenge Colored Wooden Chess Box has 2 special storage sections (1) Top (2) Bottom and each section has EP Foam tray which has been designed according to the shape of the chess pieces. There are 32 cut outs in total where the chess pieces are stored.
The EP foam is specially meant for protective packaging of sensitive high value items. The maroon velvet has been applied on the surface of foam with special process which gives the feeling of velvety touch.
